THE START OF YOUR CHILD’S BRIGHT FUTURE!

At the BMH-BJ Preschool, our goal is to do more than just prepare children for their long academic careers. It is our goal to prepare them, in some measure, for life as well.

The BMH-BJ Preschool respects and nourishes each child’s unique ability to learn and to grow in a positive and wholesome environment. If we teach our children to be secure in the world and to love learning, we will have accomplished a grand task. This will give o
Our bright, intimate classrooms with low teacher-student ratios and plenty of one-to-one interaction enable children to develop an essential sense of their own self-worth.ur children the ability to do anything they desire in their bright young lives.

FOUNDED ON TRADITIONAL JEWISH VALUES

Children are instilled with a sense of “ruach,” the spirit of their religion and culture, helping them to develop a positive sense of Jewish identity.

DESIGNED TO BUILD STRONG SCHOOL-READINESS SKILLS

By being exposed to basic social and educational concepts in a developmentally appropriate setting, children learn the important lessons and develop cognitive skills that will prepare them for their future educational challenges.

Preschool education is a vital experience for children. At the BMH-BJ Synagogue Preschool we recognize that for children, affection, security and comfort are the most critical elements in developing a healthy outlook on life. We work hard to create a stimulating and joyful setting for young learners. We try to expose our children to the pleasure and excitement of discovery, of learning new things, and of participating in the learning process. Our exciting programs in learning and creative play include outdoor activities in our beautiful Perlmutter Playground, and indoor activities in our bright and well-equipped classrooms. All encourage motor development and healthy attitudes. gs and kisses are still very important to two, three and four year olds. They need to know that the world is a nice place. Their teachers must be good, kind people who are able to recognize and communicate the world in terms of the child. Our Professional Staff of teachers and aides are wonderfully nurturing and loving.

The BMH-BJ Preschool strives to help children develop a positive sense of Jewish identity Jewish holidays are celebrated in the classroom, and children get a sense of the “ruach,” girl pushing swingthe spirit of Jewish life. As they learn Hebrew songs, the Shema, brachot and other Jewish prayers, they become happily identified with joyful Jewish traditions, values and ceremonies. ‘While snacks are provided daily, on Friday a special party prepares the children for the coming of Shabbat.

At the BMH-BJ Preschool, we know your child’s first early childhood experience is an important one, both for your child and for you as parents. You are entrusting us with your most precious possession, your child! We take that responsibility very seriously.

We also believe communication with parents is one of our most vital processes. You are welcome to stop by the office to chat, share ideas or concerns or offer new ideas. We are always looking for ways to improve our program and to make it the best we possibly can.
