Denver Synagogue Youth (DSY) is the Denver Synagogue’s youth group for ALL Jewish teens from 9th through 12th grade. Our Jr. DSY group is fr 6th through 8th graders. We have teens from every realm of the community. Our current participants range from DJDS, DAT, Smoky Hill, Cherry Creek, GW and many other schools as well as many different synagogues. DSY and Jr DSY meet a few times a month for events ranging from Shabbat N’ Shmooze with Sara to Menchies Late Night Snack and Sushi in the Sukkah. Everybody is welcome to join DSY for programs filled with fun, meaning, and most of all, Jewish appreciation! We hope to see YOU and all your Jewish friends soon!

We Welcome Sara Geboff as Our Youth Director.
Sara Geboff recently joined the BMH-BJ staff from Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Jewish Studies, where she was active in Israel Awareness on campus and Hillel. Throughout her summers at IU, she worked at Camp Ramah Darom in Georgia. After graduation Sara worked in Orlando as a Middle School Judaica teacher and an Assistant Youth Director and then in Chicago as the Director of Youth Activities at a large synagogue.
As a participant and staff member in various Jewish youth programs, Sara has developed a passion for working with Jewish youth and helping to shape and inspire them to be leaders in our movement and community.
Sara is thrilled to be making a home in Denver and to be a part of the BMH-BJ community.
